Valldemossa, A picturesque mountain village, situated approx. 20 minutes (17 km) north west of Palma. Valldemossa reached world wide fame after Frederic Chopin and George Sand spent a winter there, in 1838.
Leaving Palma, the road winds up into the mountains and into the fertile valley of Valldemossa. The genuine old part of the village, with stone houses and cobbled, narrow streets, is well preserved. There is also a new built part, adopted to the demands of modern life with chic shops, elegant restaurants and bars.
Worth a visit, is the monastery, La Cartuja, where Chopin used to stay, now a museum.
The closest beach is Puerto de Valldemossa (the bay of Valldemossa).

A 300 m2 luxury villa, just outside the village of Valldemossa, a dreamhouse where everything is kept to perfection. The land around the house, all fenced in, is about 3.800 sq metres, of which 600 sq metres is a wonderful lawn. Another part, just outside the kitchen window, has a plantation of orange trees.
The spacious accommodation, with lovely mountain views, sleeps eight in four double bedrooms, of which three are twin-bedded, 0,90 x 1,90 m.
In connection with the de luxe furnished living- dining room, is a pleasant, furnished glassed-in veranda with views of the garden and the mountains. There is also a furnished pergola terrace, right in front of the house, and a large pool terrace with sunbeds; a relaxing and sunny spot to enjoy. By the pool is a covered terrace with an outdoor kitchen.
Walking through a hallway, with several doors opening onto the garden and the pergola terrace, are the bedrooms in file. The master bedroom with twin beds, has a bathroom with bath/shower en-suite. The second bedroom, with twin beds and a bathroom ensuite, and the further two bedrooms sharing one bathroom. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.
The modern kitchen is well equipped with electric stove, a decorative mallorquin sitting-corner and an open fireplace. Next to the kitchen is a smaller dining room with an adjoining large laundry room with an extra big gas cooker and a washing machine and dryer.
The private driveway has a covered parking for four cars.
