Son Serra de Marina, on the north-east coast, in the Bay of Alcudia, 7 km from Ca´n, Picafort, and 12 km from the village of Artá, is a beautiful and protected beach resort of 2,5 km of natural dunes and unspoiled landscape. This small coastal village has no hotels and no mass tourism, in fact, it is close to being "the last paradise on earth".
Down by the beach is a nice beach bar which serves food and drinks all day, offering live music events on Sundays. There is a small marina well protected against strong winds.
The basic necessities such as a pharmacy, a small supermarket with daily fresh bread, a vegetable store, as well as, three restaurants, are available.

Casa Tucan, is a recently renovated 2-storey house with garden, located in a peaceful area approx. 500 meters from the sea, beautiful sandy beach, and the marina of Son Serra de Marina.
The house can be rented as four independent apartments, or as a six bedroom house. Every apartment has its own entrance and furnished terrace, satellite-TV, CD-player and washing machine. In the renovation much interest has been taken into making each apartment special in choice of soft yellow or blue colours, wall paintings, furnishing and fittings.
On ground floor are two fully equipped 1 bedroom apartments, each with a fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom, living-room with sofa-bed, and terrace.
On mezzanine level is an incredibly beautiful 1 bedroom apartment in an unusual design, with the large terrace, partly covered and overlooking the garden, being both a living room, dining room and kitchenette with a dishwasher. This is the perfect hide out for the romantics.
Taking the outdoor staircase, one floor up, is a 3 double bedroom apartment with a terrace with lovely garden- and sea view, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a built-in barbecue, large living- dining room with A/C and fire-place, and two bathrooms of which one is in a Gaudi inspired design. This apartment has lots of ligtht and views in all directions.
On second/top floor is a large roof terrace with incredible panoramic sea views, where on clear days Alcudia is seen.The roof terrace, as well as the garden, are accessed independently from all apartments.
Activities in the vicinity: water sports, sky-surfing, a surfing school, horse riding, mountain biking, cycling and walking in the nature reserve of the back-country.
