Ca´n Rustic, is a homely, and charming, Majorcan, stone house, situated right in the pretty village of Fornalutx, and one minute walk from the village square with cafes, bars, a supermarket and boutiques.
The house, with beautiful antique wood-work in banisters, windows and doors, is on three levels and provides a comfortable modern standard. On entering the house is the nicely preserved entrada/dining room with an open fire-place, original wooden beams, ancient floor tiles and the picturesque wall cavities for water bottles.
Following the original stone stairs one floor up, is the large main bedroom with a double bed (1,60 m x 2 m), built-in wardrobe, and original, Majorcan wooden windows with pretty views over the terrace and the mountains.
Going one floor down, is the traditional, fully renovated kitchen, which also has entrance directly from the street. Next to the kitchen is a full bathroom with both tub and shower.
On second floor, is the spacious and airy living room/reading room with two Futon sofas (1,40 m x 2 m), satellite-TV, and a beautifully slanted ceiling with thick original wooden beams. From here you have direct access to a private, very sunny, furnished balcony with sun umbrellas, a barbecue, and nice views of the village street and the Puig Major mountain. On this floor is also a separate toilet and washbasin.
Ca´n Rustic, is a suitable living for all seasons.
